Gypsy is an eclectic space that caters to an eclectic crowd. We are proud to offer one of the most unique and charming dining rooms in the city! Located in a reclaimed 155-year old Landmark church, Gypsy's authentic tin ceilings, jewel-toned walls, crisp linens, and warm candlelight are the perfect one-of-a-kind backdrop for your one-of-a-kind event. Our wide-ranging "pan-European" Gypsy menu can cater to any crowd, keeping it interesting for the foodies in your group and approachable for more conservative diners.
We are happy to close our space for your private use. Please refer to these guidelines and an explanation of how a minimum room rate works below.

Please Note:
In order to close our room for a private event, we must guarantee that your party spends a minimum amount. This amount is based on our average sales for that day if we were open for regular business. Should the food and bar bills not reach the minimum, a room charge will be added to arrive at the minimum.
For example: you would like to close the restaurant on a Friday night for a rehearsal dinner event. You are inviting 30 guests. The menu we develop with you averages $30 in food per person ($900) and the bar bill estimate is $5oo. Since at $1,400 you are below the minimum, you would incur a room charge of $400 to reach our Friday $1,800 minimum.
Alternately, you are planning a party with 50 guests at $30 ($1,500). The bar bill estimate is $850. At $2,350, no room charge is incurred since you have surpassed the minimum charge of $1,800.
Tax and service/gratuity are not included as part of the minimum to close the room for private events.
We do not charge additional room rental rates once the minimum is met.
There are no additional fees for linen or glassware unless they are specially ordered.
We are very close to City Theatre and are greatly affected by their play season. Room rates are reflective of the theatre season.
